The Torah forbids eating blood, which many today disobey by eating things like “black pudding” or “morcilla”,
And wherever you live, you shall not eat the blood of any bird or animal.

Which implies donating and receiving blood transfusions is also sin, for if the mere act of eating the blood of an animal is sin, how much more is injecting the blood of another person into the body sin, even if the blood transfusion would indeed save the life of the person, for God does indeed appoint such situations to occur to test whether man would transgress the command or not, rather than seek God for life and healing of the body, through obedience of his commands in the Torah and belief in Yeshuah and prayer,
As such, to drain all the blood from an animal, the animal must be hung upside down and decapitated, to then let its blood drain out from its flesh while its hearts also expels blood in its last heartbeats, then after the flesh is cut from its body, the meat must be washed, then the meat must be immersed and left in water for at least a 1/2 hour but no more than 24 hours, then washed with water, then the immersion and washing process may be repeated one or two more times, then cut away and visible blood clots, then add salt to the meat, and then the meat will be ready to be cooked thoroughly and eaten.
